Summary
In 2018, the municipality of Paudalho in Brazil approved an ordinance recognizing the San Severino Ramos Natural Water Spring (The Fonte de Agua Mineral) as part of a natural, environmental, and cultural heritage. The ordinance declares nature existing, prospering, and evolving is necessary to ensure the right to an ecologically healthy and balanced environment with the maintenance of ecosystem processes necessary for the quality of life. Planting and cultivation is prohibited within 100 meters of the spring to promote its conservation.
