Summary

On November 17, 2020, Deputy Fredie Delfín Avendaño in partnership with Earth Law Center Mexico presented to the Honorable Congress of the State of Oaxaca (Mexico) a constitutional amendment to Oaxaca’s Constitution in order to establish rights of nature. The proposed amendment advocates living in harmony with nature.
