Summary

In 2021, the FL5.org drafted a constitutional amendment for the state of Florida to protect the state’s wetlands due to their importance to the environment and the economy. The proposed amendment’s ballot summary cites a need to prevent “harmful effects such actions have on the ecosystems of wetlands, native wildlife, and the environmental health of Florida.” At the time of this summary, FL5.org is currently trying to get the proposed amendment on the ballot.
