Summary

In 2021, the FL5.org drafted a proposed amendment banning captive wildlife hunting, stating that “Captive wildlife hunting disrupts the delicate balance of ecosystems and puts Florida biodiversity at risk” and “pose a severe threat to native wildlife and established ecosystems if they are able to escape.” At the time of this summary, the Florida Rights of Nature Network is currently trying to get the proposed amendment on the ballot.
