Summary

In 2012, Jorge Calderón Gamboa wrote the Declaration of Principles for the Conscious Evolution of Mother Earth with support from the Gaia Foundation and the Mother Earth Indigenous Council. The principles reflect a need to reestablish humans’ relationship with Mother Earth and coexist with all forms of life. The principles also emphasize humans’ responsibilities “as agents of planetary transformation” and a “need to live sustainably with gratitude for and in harmony with nature.”
