Summary

In 2018, the First Criminal Court of Cartagena in Colombia granted the claim of Joaquín Augusto Torres Nieves, who filed a tutelar action to preserve the life and existence of bees in Colombian territory, which have been suffering a drastic decrease in population. The court urges public entities to take responsibility to defend the bees.
