Summary

Precautionary measures were requested regarding the discovery of four artisanal oil pools in the province of Sucumbíos which constitute a danger to the environment and threaten the rights of nature. The court granted the cautionary measures and ordered workers from Petroamazonas EP to work on repairing the affected area for 30 days, since nature is an owner of rights, and its repair and remediation to its previous state is guaranteed in the constitution.
